This is the second installment (and third overall) of my weekly series, “Empty Children’s Squares at Night”. The post that spawned it can be found here, and the first installment here.

I found a list of all the children’s squares of Paris and I went to this one cause I had an errand to run in the area. At first all, I could see was the little horse all alone, and I totally didn’t notice the Hôtel de Cluny in the background (info in French here). Thankfully I finally did cause that’s what made this square interesting.

Then I spent so much time editing another photo, messing with the colors and everything but it just didn’t work —and I’m really starting to think I should learn to shoot in RAW because of how many low light situations I find myself in.
